Former Chief Jitendra Singh’s Murder Case
The police have registered an FIR in the murder case of former chief contractor Jitendra Singh. The SDPO Vivek Deep informed that the primary complaint has been filed on the complaint of the deceased’s wife Seema Singh. She stated that on August 5, her husband Jitendra Singh went to his friend Kameshwar Pandey’s Christian quarter from their home in Devnagar. As they were returning home from there, they reached near the old furnace, before the eastern platform of the railway station. Abhishek Rai, Ashutosh Rai, Bhawani Singh, Kamleshwar Prasad Singh alias KP, Amit Tiwari alias Baba, Vikas Thakur, Sandeep Patel were already sitting there and started firing.
Previous Disputes and Incidents
Seema Singh mentioned that her husband Jitendra Singh had an old dispute with Abhishek Rai. In 2002, her husband had given testimony in a case against Abhishek Rai’s brother Aalind Rai. Then in 2021, their son Abhijeet alias Rishu was also injured by Abhishek Rai in a dispute over a contract. Abhishek Rai was seeking reconciliation in this case and was also demanding compensation. However, due to not providing compensation, he was murdered.
Legal Action and Investigation
The police have started taking action in the case and are investigating the matter further. The FIR has been registered based on the complaint filed by Seema Singh. The accused have been identified and the police are working towards bringing them to justice. The motive behind the murder is being investigated and the case is being handled with priority.

The family of Jitendra Singh is seeking justice for his murder and closure for the long-standing disputes with Abhishek Rai. They are hopeful that the legal system will provide them with the justice they deserve and bring the culprits to book.
