Rabri Devi’s Guard Arrested
Former Chief Minister Rabri Devi’s guard has been arrested for allegedly roaming around with Saran Lok Sabha candidate Rohini Acharya on election day without authorization. The accused has been identified as Jitendra Singh, a constable from Patna District Force. Acting on a report received from the SSP Saran, SSP Patna Rajiv Mishra immediately suspended him. The Saran Police SIT team had conducted an investigation at Circular Road on Thursday and gathered information about the security guard.
Three Policemen Dismissed in Officer’s Murder Case
In the case of the murder of police officer Prabha Bharti, three policemen have been dismissed from service. Policemen Rahul, Shivani, and Nadeem were accused of providing the location of the deceased officer to the accused on the day of the murder. The incident took place on February 4, 2023, in the Dighari area of the Koderma police station. Several other police officers and officials are also under investigation in this case.
Interviews for Assistant Professors Begin
In Patna, Bihar, interviews for assistant professors will begin today. The Bihar State University Service Commission will conduct the interviews, starting with candidates in the subject of Darshan Shastra. A total of 4108 vacancies are to be filled for assistant professors in 13 universities across the state. Subject-wise expert teams have been formed for the interviews.
