Details of the Chhapra violence incident
On May 20, during the fifth phase of voting, clashes erupted between two groups at the Mufassil police station in Chhapra. It is reported that RJD candidate Rohini Acharya Telpa had reached the booth at the last minute. A dispute broke out between her supporters and local people, leading to a clash between BJP and RJD supporters.
Deadly firing incident in Chhapra
The next day, on Tuesday morning, firing took place near the Telpa Bhikhari Chowk of the Mufassil police station. A youth named Chandan Rai was killed in the incident, while two others, Guddu Rai and Manoj Rai, were injured. The injured are currently undergoing treatment at PMCH in Patna.
