Gulshan Kashyap from Jamui, Bihar

In Jamui, Bihar, there is a chaat seller named Jitendra Kumar who is so kind-hearted that he offers free chaat to people. The only condition for getting free chaat is that the visitors must act like children. The condition is so simple that people can enjoy chaat for free at his shop.

Jitendra Kumar’s Journey

Jitendra Kumar has been running his chaat shop for the past 20 years and sets up his stall near the Jhajha Block office. To provide free food, all one has to do is fulfill the condition of acting like a child. He mentioned that many children come to his shop without any money and he happily serves them for free. Even if a child has a few rupees, he still treats them to samosa chaat. He struggled with financial difficulties from childhood to adulthood, which is why he wants to ensure no child leaves his shop hungry.

The Growth of the Chaat Shop

Initially, Jitendra Kumar faced many hardships as he had to wash plates for just 50 paisa during childhood. Many times, he went hungry as he couldn’t afford food at other shops. Due to his past struggles, he now serves free food to children to ensure they don’t go hungry. His chaat shop has gradually gained popularity, with daily sales of up to 3,000 rupees. The shop attracts a crowd of children who enjoy eating chaat at his place.
