The famous Mahavir Temple in Patna, Bihar will provide free food to those who will be coming from Ayodhya in a Bihari style. The secretary of the Mahavir Temple Trust, Acharya Kishor Kunal, has announced that from January 15th to February 15th, the Ram Rasoi (kitchen) will be continuously operated from 9 am to 9 pm to serve the devotees who will be arriving in Ayodhya. Currently, only one meal is served at the Ram Rasoi, but with the start of the construction of the Ram temple, there will be two meal times.

The Mahavir Temple decided that after January 15th, 2024, the Ram Rasoi will also serve dinner. From 11 am to 3:30 pm, lunch will be served, and from 7 pm to 9 pm, free dinner will be provided. In addition to this, during the inauguration of the Ram temple, the Ram Rasoi will be continuously operated from January 15th to February 15th to cater to the crowd of devotees who gather in Ayodhya. The ‘Ram Rasoi’ is managed by the Mahavir Temple Trust in Patna, where 3,000 to 4,000 people have been served meals daily for the past four years. The devotees are served 10 different dishes, including two types of vegetables, kachauri, chutney, katarni rice, arhar dal, kofta, aloo dam, desi ghee, tilori, and papad.

In addition, people from South India are served sambar instead of dal. A total of 10 varieties of high-quality and delicious dishes are served to the devotees. Those who come to Ayodhya can enjoy a pure meal without any payment. The most notable aspect is that they are served food in a Bihari style with love and care.
