Jharkhand Government Schools to Provide Free Bags
In a recent cabinet meeting held in Ranchi, 53 proposals were passed, one of which includes providing free bags to children studying in government schools in Jharkhand. This initiative will benefit around 37 lakh children from Class 1 to 8, and the distribution of free bags will begin from the upcoming academic session.
Decision Made in Chief Minister’s Cabinet Meeting
The decision to provide free bags was taken during a cabinet meeting chaired by Chief Minister Champai Soren on Saturday. Apart from the free bags proposal, a total of 53 proposals were approved during the meeting, showcasing the government’s commitment to improving the education system in the state.
Allocation of Funds for Free Bags
The state government has allocated Rs. 57.06 crore for the provision of free bags to school children. This significant investment reflects the government’s dedication to ensuring that every child has access to essential educational resources, such as school bags, to support their learning journey.

इस फैसले के तहत झारखंड के सरकारी स्कूलों में पढ़ने वाले बच्चों को नि:शुल्क बैग मिलेगा, जिससे क्लास एक से आठ तक के 37 लाख बच्चों को इस लाभ का फायदा मिलेगा। इस नए नीति के तहत आगामी शैक्षणिक सत्र से बच्चों को बैग मुहैया होगा। इसके अलावा, झारखंड सरकार ने इस योजना के लिए 57.06 करोड़ रुपए का बजट तय किया है।
