The NCB arrested 31 people in connection with the drug seizure, and a significant drug trafficking network was dismantled. भागलपुर के पुलिस जिला नवगछिया में एनसीबी और जिला पुलिस ने संयुक्त कार्रवाई करते हुए गांजा का बड़ा खेप जब्त किया है. भागलपुर – नारायणपुर नेशनल हाइवे 31 पर नारायणपुर चौक से गुप्त सुचना के आधार पर शुक्रवार की देर रात को कार्रवाई करते हुए एक ट्रक की तलाशी ली गयी. सिल्लीगुडॼी से पटना की और जा रही एक ट्रक को रऋककर तलाशी ली गयी. इस ट्रक में बांस लदा हुआ. पुलिस ने ट्रक से गांजा का कुल 24 पैकेट बरामद किया. इन पैकेट में भरे गांजे का वजन 243 किलो बताया जा रहा है. भवानीपुर पुलिस ने तस्करी वाले गांजे को कब्जे में लिया और चालक को लेकर थाना पहुंची है. थाना में चालक से पूछताछ की जा रही है. वहीं पूछताछ के दौरान चालक की निशानदेही पर कुछ और लोगों की गिरफ्तारी की गयी. ट्रक चालक की निशानदेही पर कार सवार 4 गिरफ्तार पुलिस के कार्रवाई में ट्रक चालक ने पूछताछ के दौरान जो जानकारी दी उसके आधार पर एक कार की भी तलाशी ली गयी. भगवान पेट्रोल पंप के पास एनएच 31 पर इस कार को पुलिस ने रोका. कार में सवार चार गांजा कारोबारी को पुलिस ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया. मिल रही जानकारी के अनुसार, ये वाहन ट्रक के साथ ही चल रहा था. गांजा के खेप को कार में रखकर ये कारोबारी कार से निकले थे. ट्रक चालक की निशानदà¥ पुर करके आरक्क्ष इंस्पेक्टर महेश कुमार ने बताया की गिरफ्तार ट्रक चालक की पहचान..
उक्त जानकारी देते हुए भवानीपुर थानाध्यक्ष इंस्पेक्टर महेश कुमार ने बताया की गिरफ्तार ट्रक चालक की पहचान वैशाली जिले के चक सिंगार थाना क्षेत्र के रामेश्वर सिंह के पुत्र बिट्टू कुमार के रूप में हुई है. जबकि गिरफ्तार किए गए कारोबारी पटना जिले के बुदरा थाना क्षेत्र के ब्रिटिश कुमार एवं पटना जिले के ही सबनीमा थाना क्षेत्र के कुलदीप राय के पुत्र भीम राय हैं.
