The Indian Railways has decided to run 34 festival special trains to manage the extra rush of passengers during the Chhath Puja festival. These trains will operate from various stations including Patna, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Saharsa, and Barauni to major destinations such as New Delhi, Pune, Haldia, Jabalpur, and Udhna. The announcement was made by the Chief Public Relations Officer, Veerendra Kumar.

One of the special trains is the Gaya-Anand Vihar Terminal Express (train number 03635). This train will operate from Gaya to Anand Vihar Terminal and will provide convenience to passengers traveling between these two destinations. The train will be equipped with all the necessary facilities and amenities to ensure a comfortable journey for the passengers.

The decision to run these festival special trains has been taken in view of the expected heavy rush of travelers during the Chhath Puja festival. The festival is celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion in Bihar and other parts of North India. The special trains will help in accommodating the additional passengers and easing the congestion at the railway stations.
