Sudden Drop in Gold and Silver Rates on Holi
The prices of gold and silver have seen a sudden decrease on the day of Holika Dahan in Udhav Krishna/Patna. Today, both gold and silver are being traded at lower rates compared to previous days. Despite the increase in rates during the inauspicious period, both gold and silver had seen a significant rise in value. However, today, the prices of gold and silver have dropped again.
Current Rates in the Market
As of today, 22-carat gold is priced at Rs 61,700 per 10 grams, while 24-carat gold is priced at Rs 68,800 per 10 grams in the Sarafa market in Patna. Previously, 24-carat gold was being traded at Rs 69,500 per 10 grams. Additionally, the rate for 22-carat gold was Rs 62,300 per 10 grams. The current rate for 18-carat gold is Rs 52,700 per 10 grams.
Exchange Rate and Silver Prices
If you are looking to sell or exchange gold today, the exchange rate for 22-carat gold is Rs 60,200 per 10 grams, and for 18-carat gold, it is Rs 51,200 per 10 grams in the Patna Sarafa market. The selling rate for silver today is Rs 70,000 per kilogram, compared to Rs 74,000 per kilogram yesterday.
