Quality Check for Gold

Indian Standard Organization (ISO) provides hallmarks to identify the purity of gold. Sarafa businessman Ajay Kumar explains that 24-carat gold jewelry is marked with 999, 23-carat with 958, 22-carat with 916, 21-carat with 875, and 18-carat with 750. Most gold is sold in 22-carat, but some prefer 18-carat gold. It is important to note that the carat of gold does not exceed 24, and the higher the carat, the purer the gold is considered to be.
