Good news for travelers from Patna, Bihar to Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand as 121 new buses will soon be operating on this route. Out of the 61 selected routes for buses, 19 inter-state routes in Bihar are also being prepared to run buses. Approximately 25 buses will be operated on these routes, providing convenience to people in districts such as Motihari, Patna, Samastipur, Gaya, Muzaffarpur, and Chapra in inter-state transportation.
The transport department recently started preparations for running buses on routes to Uttar Pradesh and Jharkhand. After a survey, 61 routes have been selected, and planning has been made for the operation of approximately 121 buses, considering the needs of the travelers. These buses will be operated by the Bihar State Road Transport Corporation. It is expected that applications for this can be invited soon.
The buses may operate on routes such as Patna to Deoghar, Patna to Ranchi, Nawada to Ranchi, Nawada to Gaya, Gaya to Dhanbad, Gaya to Deoghar, Jamui to Tatagor, Raxaul to Gorakhpur via Motihari, Raxaul to Gorakhpur via Gopalganj, Gaya to Tatagor, and Gaya to Bokaro.
In addition to these inter-state routes, preparations are also being made to operate buses on Bihar’s regional routes. Two buses from Chennari to Patna, one from Besariya to Muzaffarpur, one from Samastipur to Patna, one from Katihar to Patna, one from Betiya to Patna, three from Purnia to Bhagalpur, and one from Purnia to Patna are being planned. Similarly, there are plans to operate buses from Nawada to Bihar Sharif, two from Goh to Patna, two from Patna to Bakhtiyarpur, one from Gaya to Hasanpur, and two from Patna to Pali. Buses will also be operated on the Amarpur-Patna, Piprahi-Jaynagar, Kupha-Darbhanga Bus Stand, Doddhargiha to Patna, and Patna to Sasaram routes.
