Government Schools in Bihar Struggle Amidst Severe Heat Wave

As Bihar grapples with scorching heat waves, government schools have reopened, causing distress among children. With temperatures soaring above 45 degrees Celsius in most cities and reaching up to 48 degrees Celsius in Aurangabad district, students are fainting due to the intense heat. Nearly 60 students in various government schools across Bihar have fainted due to the extreme heat, requiring ongoing medical treatment.

Students Fainting in Schools Amidst Heat Wave

In Patna, students are demanding air conditioning units in schools as they struggle to concentrate in class. Some students have even fainted during morning prayers, leading to chaos and panic in schools. Parents are protesting for the closure of schools, citing the lack of proper ventilation and cooling facilities for students. In Begusarai, over a dozen students have fainted and been admitted to hospitals for treatment, highlighting the severity of the heat wave’s impact on students’ health.

Record-breaking Heat Wave Sweeps Bihar

Bihar is currently facing a record-breaking heat wave, with Gaya, Aurangabad, and Arwal districts recording the highest temperatures in 12 years. Temperatures have soared close to 48 degrees Celsius in Aurangabad, causing widespread discomfort among residents. The scorching heat has led to protests from students, parents, and teachers, urging the government to take immediate action to address the extreme weather conditions affecting the education system in Bihar.

हाइलाइट्सबिहार में भीषण गर्मी के बीच सरकारी स्कूल के बच्चों का हाल बेहाल है। भीषण गर्मी के कारण करीब 60 छात्राएं बेहोश हो गयी हैं, जिसका इलाज जारी है। स्कूली बच्चे रह रहकर बेहोश हो रहे हैं और टीचर भी गर्मी से त्रस्त हैं। बिहार में इस बार का 12 साल का रिकॉर्ड भी तोड़ दिया गया है। स्कूल में इस भीषण गर्मी के बीच छात्राओं की स्थिति बिगड़ रही है और अब उन्हें अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया जा रहा है।
