**Relief from Heat Coming Soon**

The voting for the eight Lok Sabha seats in Bihar ★Patna Sahib, Pataliputra, Nalanda, Ara, Buxar, Karakat, Sasaram, and Jehanabad will start shortly. The Weather Department has issued a severe heatwave alert for Buxar, Ara, Sasaram, and Karakat seats. The maximum temperature in these districts is expected to be between 42 to 44 degrees Celsius. Relief from the heat is expected in Patna as the nights have been cooler, providing relief to the residents. Measures have been taken by the district administration to protect voters from the heat by providing shade at all polling booths.

**Possibility of Rain in Some Districts**

The Weather Department has forecasted the possibility of rain and strong winds in several districts of Bihar on Saturday. The districts where rain is expected include West Champaran, East Champaran, Siwan, Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Supaul, Araria, Kishanganj, and Purnia. Strong winds with a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour are expected in these areas.

**Buxar the Hottest District**

During the last 24 hours, moderate rainfall was recorded in most parts of the state. The highest rainfall of 84.4 millimeters was recorded in Kishanganj. Buxar recorded the highest maximum temperature at 47.1 degrees Celsius, while Motihari recorded the lowest minimum temperature at 22.0 degrees Celsius. Due to the rain, the temperature is expected to decrease by two to four degrees, leading to humid weather conditions.

**Possibility of Rain in Many Districts**

According to the Meteorological Center, there is a possibility of light rain in several places in the next 24 hours. The wind direction is expected to be southeasterly to southwesterly. The southern part of the Bay of Bengal may receive the monsoon within the next three to four days. A low-pressure area has formed over the sea surface 1.5 kilometers above sea level in northeastern Assam. This will result in partly cloudy skies and humid weather conditions in most parts of the state.
