Bihar Weather Department Issues Heatwave Alert in 24 Districts
The weather department has issued a heatwave alert in Bihar amidst rising temperatures. A yellow alert has been issued in all 24 districts of Bihar, with Patna experiencing conditions similar to a heatwave. While some districts may also see rain showers, the heatwave is expected to continue in Bihar.
24 Districts in Bihar on Alert for Heatwave
According to the Patna Meteorological Center, districts like Patna, Gaya, Bhagalpur, and others are at risk of experiencing a heatwave. Additionally, districts like Bhojpur, Rohtas, Nalanda, and others have also been warned about the heatwave. However, there is some good news as a possibility of rain showers has been forecasted in some districts amidst the scorching heat.
Possibility of Relief with Rain Showers in Bihar
The weather department has predicted a slight decrease in temperature in South Bihar on the upcoming Sunday and Monday, with a chance of rain showers in certain districts. While some regions may experience cloudy weather and a possibility of rain, the rest of the state is expected to remain normal. The active western disturbance in the Himalayan region is causing a flow of north-western and western winds in Bihar, leading to a continuous rise in temperatures.
बिहार में बढ़ती गर्मी के बीच हाइलाइट्समौसम विभाग ने 24 जिलों में लू का अलर्ट जारी किया है। पटना में हीट वेव जैसी स्थिति है और कई जिलों में पारा हाई है। विभाग ने कुछ जिलों में बारिश का भी पूर्वानुमान लगाया है। पटना, गया, भागलपुर, पश्चिमी चंपारण, सिवान, सारण, पूर्वी चंपारण, गोपालगंज, और बक्सर में लू की आशंका है। इसके अलावा भोजपुर, रोहतास, भभुआ, औरंगाबाद, अरवल, नालंदा, शेखपुरा, नवादा, बेगूसराय, लखीसराय, जहानाबाद, बांका, मुंगेर, जमुई, और खगड़िया में भी हीट वेव की चेतावनी दी गई है। इसके साथ ही मौसम विभाग ने बारिश की भी खुशखबरी दी है।
