Heatwave Continues in Bihar

The impact of Cyclone Remal in the Bay of Bengal did not bring any relief to Bihar as scorching heat continues to trouble the residents, especially in the southern parts including Patna. Buxar recorded the highest temperature at 43.2 degrees Celsius. According to the weather department, many areas in southern Bihar, including Patna, will experience intense heat during the day and night. On the other hand, northern Bihar, including Purnia, Araria, and Katihar, is expected to receive rainfall accompanied by strong winds.
