Jharkhand Weather Update
On Saturday, various parts of Jharkhand, including the capital Ranchi, experienced heavy rain accompanied by strong winds. After a sunny day, the weather changed rapidly in the afternoon with dark clouds and thunderstorms. Ranchi recorded 2.6 mm of rainfall.
Relief from Heat
Following the rain, people in Ranchi took a breath of relief from the heat. The weather department has issued an orange alert for the next four days in Jharkhand, including Ranchi, warning of heavy rain with strong winds and thunderstorms.
Temperature Variation
According to the weather department, the maximum temperature in the capital on Saturday was 32.4 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 19.5 degrees Celsius, both above normal. In Medininagar, the maximum temperature was 34.6 and the minimum was 18.0 degrees Celsius. Jamshedpur recorded 34.2 degrees Celsius and 21.8 degrees Celsius.
Forecast for the Next Few Days
Weather scientist Abhishek Anand mentioned that over the next four days, Ranchi and other parts of Jharkhand might experience a decrease of up to four degrees in maximum temperature, with heavy rain, thunderstorms, and occasional lightning alerts.
