Deoghar: For the three days of the Basant Panchami fair, entry of heavy vehicles into the city will be restricted from 8 am to 12 pm. In addition, 21 no-entry zones have been created to avoid traffic congestion. Following the instructions of DC Vishal Sagar, SDIO Deepankar Choudhary has issued orders in agreement with the proposal of the Traffic DSP. As per the issued orders, from 13th to 15th February, heavy vehicles will be prohibited from entering the city from 8 am to 12 pm at eight different locations.
Routes for Heavy Vehicles: Heavy vehicles such as buses, trucks, tractors, and other cargo carriers coming from Jodumka will divert from Hingolavan to Tapovan, Charki Pahadi, Ujala Chowk, Purana Kunda Thana Mod, and Koriasa Chowk towards Giridih. Vehicles coming from Giridih will turn right from Koriasa Chowk, pass through Purana Kunda Thana Mod, Ujala Chowk, Charki Pahadi, Tapovan, and Hingolavan, and go towards Dumka. Vehicles coming from Rohini/Devi Pur will go from Rohini Shahid Dwar Mod to Jashidih. Vehicles coming from Chakai, Jamui will divert from Jashidih Tabhaghat Mod towards the left, Devpura Mod towards the right, Kothia Mod towards the left, and Rikhia Haat Mod towards the right, and proceed towards Mohanpur. Vehicles coming from Chaupa Mod will divert from Chaupa Mod towards the left and proceed directly towards Kunda Mod. Vehicles coming from Sultanganj will divert from Kothia Mod towards the left, pass through Rikhia Ashram, and go towards Mohanpur Bazaar. Vehicles coming from Chaupa Mod, Hingolavan, and Tapovan will go towards Kunda Mod.
No-Entry Zones: Heavy vehicles will not be allowed to enter the city in the following areas: Patel Chowk including Jalsar Mod, Bharati Hotel, Jora Talab, Hadhadiya Pul, Shivaram Jha Chowk, Hindi Vidyapeeth, Darshaniya Mod, Bhur Bhura Mod, Sita Hotel, Billasitown Char Number Fandi, Laxmipur Chowk, Mandir Mod, Shahid Ashram Road, Domasi Gali (Droliya Road), Meena Bazaar, Tractor Stand, Bajrangbali Chowk (Dhobiya Gali), Tower Chowk, Jhousagari Kali Mandir, and Dukhi Sah Lane. Traffic police have been instructed to be deployed at these locations.
Deoghar: One lakh devotees reached Babadham to apply tilak to Baba in English.
देवघर में आने वाले बसंत पंचमी मेले को लेकर तीन दिनों तक सुबह 8 से दोपहर 12 बजे तक शहर में भारी वाहनों का प्रवेश निषेध रहेगा। इसके लिए रूट भी डायवर्ट कर दिया गया है। शहर में जाम की स्थिति न बने इसके लिए 21 नो-इंट्री जोन बनाये गये हैं। यातायात पुलिस को तैनात करने का निर्देश दिया गया है। इसके चलते रूट डायवर्ट करने के आदेश जारी किए गए हैं। इस दौरान बाबाधाम में तिलक चढ़ाने के लिए लगभग एक लाख भक्त पहुंचे हैं।
