Hemant Soren files a writ petition against the summons by ED in Jharkhand High Court. The hearing of the case is scheduled for tomorrow morning at 10:30 am.
BJP leader Pratul Shah Dev taunts Hemant Soren, saying, “This was bound to happen, the result of bad deeds. The Chief Minister forgot that the law is supreme. He went missing for 40 hours, then returned to Jharkhand and got arrested. If only he had followed the oath he took for honesty, law, constitution, and faith, we wouldn’t have to witness this day.”
Tribal organizations, unhappy with Soren’s arrest, have called for a shutdown in Jharkhand today. Ajay Tirkey, the chairman of the Central Sarna Committee, stated that 15-20 tribal organizations will also participate in the shutdown.
In relation to the alleged land scam, Hemant Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate team on Wednesday. However, he had already resigned from the Chief Minister’s post. Following his resignation, the ruling JMM-led coalition proposed senior leader Champai Soren as the new state chief. Champai Soren’s swearing-in ceremony may take place today at the Raj Bhavan. Meanwhile, some tribal organizations in Jharkhand have called for a shutdown. On the other hand, Hemant Soren has filed a writ petition in the Jharkhand High Court, and the hearing is scheduled for 10:30 am today. झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन को गिरफ्तारी के बाद उन्होंने झारखंड हाईकोर्ट में रिट याचिका दायर की है। सोरेन की गिरफ्तारी के खिलाफ आदिवासी संगठनों ने झारखंड बंद का आह्वान किया है। भाजपा प्रदेशाध्यक्ष प्रतुलशाह देव ने भी सोरेन पर तंज कसा है। इसके साथ ही हेमंत सोरेन की गिरफ्तारी के बाद नए राज्य प्रमुख के रूप में चंपई सोरेन का नाम प्रस्तावित किया गया है। यही नहीं, झारखंड हाईकोर्ट में भी सोरेन की रिट याचिका पर सुनवाई होगी।
