दरभंगा एम्स के निर्माण का रास्ता साफ हो रहा है। बिहार सरकार ने दरभंगा एम्स के निर्माण के प्रस्ताव को केंद्र सरकार को सौंप दिया है। इस प्रस्ताव में राज्य सरकार ने केंद्र सरकार की सभी शर्तों को स्वीकार कर लिया है। इसके अलावा जमीन का समतलीकरण कर बिजली और पानी की आपूर्ति भी बहाल की जाएगी। इससे दरभंगा एम्स को फोरलेन की कनेक्टिविटी से जोड़ा जाएगा। बिहार सरकार द्वारा एम्स निर्माण के लिए 189 एकड़ जमीन चिह्नित की गई है। इस जमीन की भराई, समतलीकरण और चहारदीवारी के निर्माण के लिए राज्य सरकार ने 309 करोड़ की स्वीकृति दी है। इससे मरीजों को आसानी से एम्स तक पहुंचने में मदद मिलेगी। इस भूखंड का एम्स निर्माण करने की स्वीकृति मार्च 2023 में दी गई थी।
