Home Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to the Border Security Force (BSF) jawans who sacrificed their lives for the nation during a ceremony in Hazaribagh, Jharkhand. The BSF is the world’s largest border security force, with approximately 2.5 lakh personnel, and celebrates its foundation day on 1st December every year. Shah expressed his happiness to be present at the event and commended the bravery and dedication of the more than 1,900 border guards who have given their lives to protect the country. He assured them that the nation is proud of their service.
Naxalism is declining in the country, according to the Home Minister. He stated that efforts made in the last decade have resulted in a 52% reduction in violent incidents and a 70% decrease in fatalities. The number of Naxal-affected districts has decreased from 96 to 45, and police stations have reduced from 495 to 176. Shah emphasized the need for continued determination and courage in the final battle against Naxalism. The establishment of new camps and increased surveillance has led to a decrease in their numbers, and many areas have been freed from their influence.
During the ceremony, Amit Shah also mentioned the improvements in Jammu and Kashmir and the Northeast region. He attributed these positive changes to the efforts of the BSF jawans. Shah expressed his gratitude to the jawans for their contribution to these regions’ progress. The Home Minister’s speech highlighted the ongoing fight against Naxalism and the government’s commitment to ensuring the safety and security of the country.
केंद्रीय गृहमंत्री अमित शाह ने झारखंड के हजारीबाग में बीएसएफ के 59वें स्थापना दिवस समारोह में शामिल होकर सीमा सुरक्षा बल के जवानों को श्रद्धांजलि दी। उन्होंने कहा कि बीएसएफ दुनिया का सबसे बड़ा सीमा सुरक्षा बल है जो हर साल 1 दिसंबर को स्थापना दिवस मनाता है। उन्होंने बलिदान देने वाले जवानों को गर्व किया और नक्सलवाद पर भी विचार दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि देश वामपंथी उग्रवाद से मुक्त हो जाएगा और नक्सल प्रभावित जिलों में सुधार हुआ है। उन्होंने बीएसएफ के जवानों को इसका श्रेय दिया और कश्मीर और नार्थ ईस्ट पर भी सुधार का जिक्र किया।
