Hospital chaos erupted after death. The incident took place near the Line Bazaar in Purnia. The patient died during surgery, and the relatives accused the doctor of negligence and assault after the death. The doctor and health workers fled the hospital upon seeing the chaos. The deceased patient, Kedar Bhagat, was a resident of Shastri Nagar, Gulabbagh in the Sadar Thana area. According to the relatives, Kedar Bhagat was admitted to the hospital due to a bone disease. However, he passed away shortly after the doctor left the hospital without any explanation. This led to the relatives confronting the hospital staff and causing chaos.
The police arrived at the scene to calm the situation and explain to the relatives. Assistant Inspector Shashi Kumar Bhagat informed that the police intervened to pacify the relatives and no formal complaint has been filed yet. Further action will be taken upon receiving a formal complaint from the relatives. The situation was brought under control by the police.
