Police action in Jhajha Thana area of Jamui
A 42-second video has surfaced from the Jhajha Thana area of Jamui, showing police catching two tractors loaded with illegal sand. The video shows police officers driving their vehicle while two tractors loaded with sand can be seen moving. The police officers then chase both tractors, as the drivers try to speed away. Despite the efforts of the tractor drivers, the police manage to seize both tractors along with the sand after a tough chase.
Police crackdown in Mahapur village
The incident took place in Mahapur village of Jhajha Thana area, where police had received information about illegal sand mining activities. A police team was sent to take action against the sand mafia in the village. During the operation, the police spotted two tractors carrying illegal sand and seized them. However, the drivers managed to escape leaving behind the loaded vehicles.
FIR filed against tractor drivers
In connection with the incident, the Jhajha police have filed an FIR against the tractor drivers, including Manoj Yadav, Rajesh Yadav, Rinku Yadav, Kheeru Yadav, Rohit Yadav, and Rajesh Yadav. Illegal sand mining by the sand mafia is a common occurrence in Jamui, with tractors loaded with sand often seen in various parts of the district. The police action against these two tractors has caused a stir among the sand mafia.
