In the Rivilganj block of Saran district, Laddu Mahato has planted Radhika variety of okra in 27 kathas of land, which has resulted in abundant produce. By selling okra at more than Rs 5,000 per day, he is earning over Rs 50,000 per month.

Laddu Mahato shared that he has been involved in farming with his father since childhood and continues to do so for a good income. Seeking advice from agricultural experts, he planted okra using scientific methods in 27 kathas of land. By following the advice of agricultural experts and using the right techniques, the okra crop has been flourishing. He specifically chose to plant the Radhika variety of okra, which has proven to be highly profitable due to its abundant yield.
Education and Future Aspirations
Despite not having received a formal education due to financial constraints, Laddu Mahato is determined to provide a convent education to his three children. He works tirelessly in the fields day and night to save money for their education, aspiring for them to become government officials. While his upbringing involved working in the fields from a young age to support his family, he now aims to secure a better future for his children through education and successful vegetable farming, ensuring a comfortable livelihood for his family.
