Increased Speed and Efficiency
With the installation of a double line and electrification between Patna and Ayodhya, trains traveling from Patna Junction and Danapur Station to Ayodhya will no longer experience delays. Previously, trains had to be stopped in the middle of the tracks due to crossings between stations, causing delays. However, this issue has now been resolved, resulting in increased speed and efficiency for trains passing through Patna.
Relief for Passengers
Several trains, including the Patna Kota, Patna Indore, Farakka, and Kamakhya Bhagat Ki Kothi Express, will now be able to travel directly from Patna Junction to Ayodhya. This change comes after the completion of the interlocking work between stations from January 15th to 21st. The Commissioner of Railway Safety (CRS) has also approved the operation of trains with double lines and electric engines on this route, further improving the travel experience for passengers.
New Train Service
A new train service has started between Jamalpur and Dumka, running via Patna. The Patna-Dumka Express departs from Patna Junction at 6:40 am and arrives in Dumka at 1:30 pm. The return journey starts from Dumka at 2:05 pm and arrives in Patna at 9:45 pm. This new train service provides a convenient travel option for passengers between these destinations.
Changes in Train Stops
Starting from January 25th, two trains have had their stops changed on the Patna-Dumka-Patna Express route. The Danapur-Sahibganj Intercity Express (13236) will now make a stop at Kiul Station from 9:02 am to 9:07 am instead of the previous time of 8:52 am to 8:57 am. Similarly, the Kiul-Jamalpur DEMU Passenger Train (03488) will depart from Kiul Railway Station at 9:20 am instead of 9:15 am for Jamalpur. These changes aim to improve the connectivity and convenience for passengers traveling on this route.
भगवान राम की प्राण प्रतिष्ठा होने के साथ ही अब पटना जंक्शन व दानापुर स्टेशन से अयोध्या जाने वाली ट्रेनें लेट नहीं होंगी। इसके लिए अब ट्रेन की गति भी बढ़ेगी। पटना से लखनऊ होते हुए अयोध्या जाने वाला रेल मार्ग सिंगल लाइन था। पांच साल में इसका अब दोहरीकरण और विद्युतीकरण हुआ है। अभी लखनऊ-अयोध्या कैंट-शाहगंज-जाफराबाद रेल मार्ग के बीच स्टेशनों की इंटरलाकिंग का काम नहीं होने से क्रॉसिंग होने पर ट्रेनों को बीच रास्ते में रोक दिया जाता था, जिससे ट्रेनें लेट होती थीं। ऐसे में अब इस व्यवस्था को और दुरुस्त कर लिया गया है। इससे पटना से गुजरने वाली ट्रेनों की स्पीड और अधिक बढ़ जायेगी। पटना कोटा, फरक्का समेत कई ट्रेनों के यात्रियों को राहतपटना जंक्शन से खुलने वाली पटना कोटा, पटना इंदौर, फरक्का और कामाख्या भगत की कोठी एक्सप्रेस ट्रेन अयोध्या स्टेशन से होकर गुजरती है। बीते 15 जनवरी से फरक्का एक्सप्रेस को रद्द कर दिया गया था। जबकि पटना कोटा व पटना इंदौर को बदले मार्ग से चलाया जा रहा था। रेलवे अधिकारियों के मुताबिक उत्तर रेलवे मुख्यालय की टीम ने इस मार्ग पर ट्रेनों की गति बढ़ाने के लिए 15 से 21 जनवरी तक स्टेशनों की इंटरलॉकिंग का काम पूरा कर लिया गया है। इसके बाद कमिश्नर रेलवे ऑफ सेफ्टी (सीआरएस) ने
