Video of Young Man Being Dragged Goes Viral

A video of four people dragging a young man by his legs like an animal has gone viral on the internet. The incident took place in the Palanwa police station area of Raxaul block in East Champaran. The video showcases the extent of cruelty as the young man screams for help while onlookers fail to intervene.

Land Dispute Leads to FIR

A land dispute in Lachnauta village of Palanwa police station area resulted in an FIR being filed. Bhuteli Ram, the father of the victim, Ranjan Ram, lodged the complaint stating that he was being attacked while cleaning his land. The altercation escalated into a fight and Budhan Ram, along with three others, have been accused in the case.

Investigation Underway

The police have launched an investigation into the incident after registering a complaint at Palanwa police station. The victim has been identified and efforts are being made to apprehend the accused individuals.

Education Department Enhances Technology in Schools

The Education Department has taken steps to improve the quality of education in the region. Computers have been provided to four higher secondary schools and smart classes have been introduced in middle schools with the help of TVs, inverters, and pen drives. The initiative aims to ensure that children receive quality computer education.

Computer Education in Select Schools

Out of the 20 higher secondary schools and 48 middle schools in the area, Banshidhar, Project Kanya, UHS Latiyahi, and Pokharia have been equipped with computers and smart classes. However, only teachers employed in these schools are currently conducting the classes.
