Kishanganj DM Inaugurates New Kabaddi Training Center
The District Magistrate of Kishanganj, Tushar Singla, inaugurated a new Eklavya State Residential Kabaddi Training Center in Kishanganj under the Chief Minister’s Sports Development Scheme. The center was inaugurated at the Inter College in the city, boosting the morale of players by breaking coconuts and flying balloons in the sports field. The players were assured of adequate training facilities to shine at the district and state levels.
Future Plans for Various Sports Training
The District Arts and Culture Officer along with the Deputy Director expressed hope that in the future, training for popular sports like chess, taekwondo, athletics, and more will be provided by the department to further enhance the skills of athletes. This initiative aims to help players shine at national and international levels, bringing glory to the country.
High-Level Training for Kabaddi Players
At the center, 20 kabaddi players will receive expert training under the guidance of coaches from the Sports Department, Bihar, and Bihar State Sports Authority. This training will enable them to perform well in high-level sports, representing the district, state, and country with pride. The selected players will receive free education, accommodation, nutritious food, sports kits, and other facilities.
Selection Process and Support at the Inauguration
During the inauguration, the District Education Officer, Principal of the Inter College, Hostel Superintendent, Office Clerk, selected players, and other teachers were present to support the initiative. A total of 16 players have been enrolled at the center, with trials planned to fill the remaining 4 vacant slots with deserving candidates. The event aimed to boost the morale of players and pave the way for a bright future in sports.
किशनगंज डीएम तुषार सिंगला ने मुख्यमंत्री खेल विकास योजना के तहत किशनगंज में नए एकलव्य राज्य आवासीय कबड्डी प्रशिक्षण केंद्र का उद्घाटन किया। इस केंद्र के उद्घाटन समारोह में जिला पदाधिकारी ने खिलाड़ियों को मनोबल बढ़ाने के लिए नारियल फोड़कर एवं गुब्बारा उड़ाकर खेल मैदान में खिलाड़ियों का मनोबल बढ़ाया। इस केंद्र में 20 कबड्डी खिलाड़ियों को उच्च स्तरीय प्रशिक्षण दिया जाएगा ताकि वे उच्च स्तरीय खेलों में अच्छा प्रदर्शन कर सकें। जिला कला संस्कृति पदाधिकारी ने भविष्य में अन्य खेलों के लिए भी प्रशिक्षण की व्यवस्था करने की उम्मीद जताई है।
