Crime in Patna City

Crime rates in Patna City are on the rise with daily incidents of criminal activities. Despite efforts by the police, they have been unsuccessful in curbing these incidents. A recent case occurred near the petrol pump in Rani Pur Pajawa, where armed criminals shot and killed a vegetable vendor. The criminals managed to escape after committing the crime, leaving the local residents in fear.

Investigation and Victim Identification

Upon receiving information from the locals, the police reached the crime scene and took possession of the body. The body was then sent to Nalanda Medical College for post-mortem examination. The motive behind the murder is still unclear, and there are suspicions that the incident may be a result of personal enmity. The victim, identified as Ajay Kumar alias Sonu, was a resident of Gadiwan Tola Mohalla and worked as a vegetable seller.

Confirmation and Police Action

The incident was confirmed by Inspector Daroga Kumar Prajapati, who stated that Ajay Kumar was shot multiple times by unknown assailants. The police are actively investigating the case and are reviewing CCTV footage from the surrounding areas to identify and apprehend the criminals. The father and elder brother of the victim have appealed to the police administration for justice, although they are unable to provide any information regarding the reasons behind the murder.
