BJP State President criticizes alliance leaders

Samrat Chowdhary, the BJP State President, expressed his dissatisfaction with the alliance leaders’ decision-making process regarding preparations for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. He mentioned that despite three meetings, they were unable to decide on a convener due to internal conflicts and “leg pulling”. Although a coordination committee of 14 members was formed, Chowdhary criticized the inclusion of individuals who have been accused of various wrongdoings, such as temple demolition and involvement in scams worth crores of rupees.

Alliance leaders accused of serious crimes

Chowdhary highlighted the controversial backgrounds of some of the alliance leaders. TR Balu has been accused of demolishing Saraswati, Parvati, and Lakshmi temples, while Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav, son of RJD President Lalu Prasad, has been convicted in the infamous fodder scam and is accused in a land-for-job scam. Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren is facing allegations of involvement in a land scam, and AAP’s Raghav Chadha is facing serious allegations like liquor scam in Delhi. Abhishek Banerjee is facing accusations related to teacher recruitment scam, and KC Venugopal is facing allegations like rape.
