The Northern Railway and North Eastern Railway have released the schedule for these special trains. These trains will connect cities like New Delhi, Anand Vihar, and Chandigarh to destinations such as Gorakhpur, Barauni, and Supaul. You can check the details below to plan your trip.

Ticket Booking and Facility Details

Booking for these special trains has already started on the IRCTC website and mobile app. These trains will offer AC, Sleeper, and General coach facilities to cater to all types of passengers. Travelers should keep in mind that fares for special trains are sometimes slightly higher than regular mail or express trains.

This year, Indian Railways is running around 1400 to 1500 special trains across the country, which is about 25% more than last year. This massive arrangement aims to manage the heavy passenger flow from metros like Delhi and Mumbai towards eastern states. Additionally, for the convenience of passengers, the Ajmer-Kishanganj Garib Nawaz Express has been given a new stoppage at Bandikui Junction starting February 16.
