Indian Railways is launching a new train called the Dibrugarh-Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express. It will start operating soon and will connect five states in India: Assam, Nagaland, West Bengal, Bihar, and Uttar Pradesh.

This train is a non-AC service aimed at providing affordable travel for people from lower and middle-income groups. The train will have the number 15949 for its Dibrugarh to Gomti Nagar route and 15950 for the return journey.

Passengers can expect the train to stop at 40 stations along its route, including popular stops like Guwahati, Ayodhya, and Gorakhpur. The train will run weekly, departing from Dibrugarh every Friday and from Gomti Nagar every Sunday.

The Dibrugarh-Gomti Nagar Amrit Bharat Express will leave Dibrugarh at 9 PM on Fridays and reach Gomti Nagar by 1:30 PM on Sundays. For the return journey, it will leave Gomti Nagar at 6:40 PM on Sundays and arrive back in Dibrugarh by 12:40 PM on Tuesdays.

This new train service is a convenient option for travelers looking to move between these regions. With 22 coaches, it aims to provide a comfortable and budget-friendly travel experience.
