The Indian Railways is starting a special train service to help passengers, especially students, during the festive season.

With festivals around the corner, especially Durga Puja, many people are heading home. This has led to an increase in train passengers, particularly from Bihar and Uttar Pradesh.

To ease the travel for these passengers, the Indian Railways has decided to run a special weekly train. This train will operate from Barauni Junction to Sogaria, which is close to Kota in Rajasthan, starting from September 20 until December 28.

This special train will make a total of 15 trips in both directions. It aims to provide convenience for students studying in Kota and their families, ensuring they can travel home easily during the festive season.

The train will leave Barauni every Saturday at 4:30 PM and reach Sogaria on Sunday at 6:25 PM. It will make stops at important stations like Patna Junction, Varanasi, and Prayagraj, making it accessible for many passengers.

On the return journey, the train will depart from Sogaria at 7:50 PM on Sunday and arrive back in Barauni by 11:45 PM on Monday. This service is expected to significantly help passengers enjoy their festivals with family comfortably.
