2021 में इंडिगो के मैनेजर रूपेश सिंह की गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी गई थी। पटना के अपर जिला एवं सत्र न्यायाधीश नवम अविनाश कुमार ने मामले में सुनवाई के बाद चारों आरोपियों को मंगलवार को बरी कर दिया। इस मामले में अभियोजन ने 11 गवाहों की गवाही दी थी, पर कोर्ट में कोई भी गवाही टिक नहीं पाई। रूपेश की हत्या के पीछे अपराधियों का क्या मकसद था, यह बड़ा सवाल है। अभियोग था कि रोड रेज के मामले में ऋतुराज के साथ रुपेश सिंह की कहासुनी हुई थी।
