Green Neem Corridor Initiated in Ramchandrapur Dashhara Village for Environmental Conservation
Ramchandrapur Dashhara village in Samastipur district has left its mark in the field of environmental conservation. The villagers were known for planting trees on the occasion of their daughter’s wedding, and now they have started planting trees on the occasion of shradh as well. Social worker Sujit Kumar Bhagat, who is known as the national tree man in the field of environmental conservation, has initiated the Green Neem Corridor with the money collected for the feast and rituals of the late Ganesh Prasad Bhagat, a teacher and father of Sujit Kumar Bhagat. The main road passing through the village and extending up to five kilometers on both sides will be a part of this corridor.

फैले हरियाली के लिए पेड़ लगाए गए हैं। यह पहल गांव की जनता के द्वारा की गई है, जो पहले बेटी की शादी में और अब श्राद्ध में पेड़ लगाने का निर्णय लिया है। समाजसेवी सुजीत कुमार भगत ने अपने पिता गणेश प्रसाद भगत की वर्षी पर भोज और कर्मकांड के लिए जमा किए गए पैसों का उपयोग करके ग्रीन नीम कॉरिडोर की शुरुआत की है। इसके बाद गांव से गुजरने वाली मुख्य पथ पर पांच किलोमीटर तक हरियाली फैलाई गई है।
