Jharkhand Minister Alamgir Alam to be Questioned by Enforcement Directorate
The Rural Development Department Minister of the Jharkhand government, Alamgir Alam, will be questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today. The investigative agency had sent him a summons and had called him to the regional office in Hinoo at 11 am. He arrived at the ED office just 15 minutes before the scheduled time.
Investigation into Tender Commission Case
It should be noted that in the case related to the tender commission, the ED had conducted a probe into Alamgir Alam’s personal affairs.
Alamgir Alam’s Response
Alamgir Alam has denied any wrongdoing and has stated that he is fully cooperating with the investigation. He has assured that he will provide all necessary information to the ED during the questioning.
