Akhilesh Yadav, the younger son of JDU MLA Vibha Devi and former minister Rajvallabh Yadav, passed away on Thursday night following a road accident in Nawada. The accident took place just 500 meters away from his home when his Thar SUV lost control and crashed into a Banyan tree. He was immediately taken to Medanta Hospital in Patna for specialized treatment but unfortunately breathed his last around 12 AM.

The incident happened on the evening of March 19, 2026, in the Muffasil police station area of Nawada. Akhilesh Yadav had left his house in his Thar vehicle when it suddenly veered off the road. The vehicle struck a massive Banyan tree with great force, resulting in severe injuries to him. His elder brother, Eklavya Yadav, stated that the family rushed him to Patna for better medical facilities as his condition was critical from the start.
