Hemant Soren, the Chief Minister of Jharkhand, directed the members and workers of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha central committee during a dialogue program on Thursday to prepare and be ready for the 2024 elections. He stated that they need to win in the 2024 Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. If they win all 14 seats in the Lok Sabha, the state will receive a pending payment of 1.36 lakh crore rupees from the central government, which will be invested in the state’s development.
During the program, the Chief Minister told the workers from Khunti, Ramgarh, Hazaribagh, Gumla, Ranchi, Simdega, and Lohardaga districts that opposition parties are plotting to tarnish the image of the government. He urged them to be prepared to give a befitting reply. He also gave the responsibility to the party leaders and workers to reach every village and household and ensure that the government’s welfare schemes benefit the people.
The Chief Minister stated that everyone is aware that in this election year, opposition parties and people from different religions and communities are trying to break our unity and solidarity. We all need to stay vigilant against such anti-state elements. He emphasized that the workers from Jharmumo have a great responsibility on their shoulders and they should fulfill their duties with dedication and honesty. Jharmumo’s central secretary, Vinod Pandey, also expressed his thoughts on this occasion.
Preparation for the Local Policy Bill based on 1932 Khatiyan
During the winter session of the Legislative Assembly, Hemant Soren’s government has prepared to reintroduce the Local Policy Bill based on the 1932 Khatiyan. According to sources, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha will not deviate from its electoral promise. In this bill, without making any specific amendments, Hemant Soren will once again move forward to reserve government positions in the state for local youth in the third and fourth categories. Before the winter session, during a meeting held at the Chief Minister’s residence under the chairmanship of Hemant Soren, the ruling party MLAs strongly advocated for the 1932 Khatiyan.
Return of the 1932 Khatiyan Bill from Raj Bhavan
The 1932 Khatiyan-based Local Policy Bill, along with the message from Governor CP Radhakrishnan, has been returned to the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly Secretariat from Raj Bhavan. According to sources, the Governor has asked the Assembly to reconsider some points of the bill. Raj Bhavan has given its suggestion after taking advice from the Attorney General.
झारखंड के मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने गुरुवार को झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा के सदस्यों और कार्यकर्ताओं के साथ आयोजित संवाद कार्यक्रम के दौरान 2024 के चुनावों के लिए कमर कसने और हर परिस्थिति के लिए तैयार रहने का निर्देश दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि लोकसभा और विधानसभा चुनाव में जीत हासिल करना है और यदि वे सभी सीटों पर जीतते हैं तो राज्य को 1.36 लाख करोड़ रुपये बकाया मिलेगा जिसे विकास में लगाया जाएगा। विरोधी दलों के षड्यंत्र के बारे में चिंतित होने के बाद उन्होंने कार्यकर्ताओं को सतर्क रहने की आवश्यकता बतायी और उन्हें सरकार की कल्याणकारी योजनाओं का प्रचार करने की जिम्मेदारी दी। इसके अलावा, हेमंत सरकार ने स्थानीय नीति विधेयक को दोबारा पेश करने की तैयारी की है और उसमें युवाओं के लिए सरकारी पदों की आरक्षण के बारे में बात की है।
