JMM Suspends Former MLA Jayprakash Verma
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) has suspended former MLA Jayprakash Verma from the party. In a letter issued by the JMM, it is stated that Verma has been nominated from the Koderma constituency in the 2024 general elections, which goes against the alliance agreement. Based on information received from Giridih district committee, Verma has been relieved of all party positions and suspended from the party.
Verma Contests as Independent Candidate
Verma, who is contesting from the Koderma Lok Sabha seat as an independent candidate, has filled the nomination papers for this seat. Following this, the party took action against him. Verma stated that no development work has been done in the Koderma Lok Sabha area in the past five years. He is contesting the elections based on the people’s demands, as the state government is trying to deceive the public.
Public Support for Independent Candidates
Verma submitted his nomination as an independent candidate after recognizing the people’s needs in the area. Continuous support from voters indicates a potential victory for him. Verma submitted his candidacy from Koderma after not receiving the ticket. Vinod Singh from the India Alliance is also in the electoral field as a candidate from Koderma seat.
झारखंड मुक्ति मोर्चा ने गिरिडीह के पूर्व विधायक जयप्रकाश वर्मा को पार्टी से निलंबित कर दिया है। जेएमएम ने जारी किये गये पत्र में लिखा है कि वर्मा ने गठबंधन धर्म के विपरीत कोडरमा निर्वाचन क्षेत्र से नामांकन किया है। वर्मा ने निर्दलीय चुनाव लड़ने का फैसला किया है और इसके बाद पार्टी ने उन्हें निलंबित कर दिया है। जयप्रकाश वर्मा ने कहा है कि कोडरमा लोकसभा क्षेत्र में पिछले पांच सालों में विकास का कोई कार्य नहीं हुआ है और उन्हें निर्दलीय प्रत्याशी के रूप में चुनाव मैदान में हिस्सा लेने का फैसला किया है।
