Jharkhand Government Ensuring 75% Employment in Private Sector for Local Youths
The state government of Jharkhand is continuously making progress in the direction of ensuring 75% employment in the private sector for local youths. To strengthen this series, Chief Minister Hemant Soren will hand over offer letters to 2500 youths in the private sector on 22nd January 2024.
Transformation of Kulhi Village due to the Establishment of Plants
With the efforts of CM Hemant Soren, several textile plants were inaugurated in Kulhi Industrial Area in Ormanjhi, Ranchi in December 2021. In just three years, more than 10,000 youths have found employment in Ranchi through these efforts. The textile factories here not only provide jobs but also offer better facilities. 90% of the workers here are women. They are working in modern clothing units of Arvind Textiles, Kishor Exports, Shri Ganpati Creations, Urban Design Pvt Ltd, Matrix Clothing, Valencia Apparels, and Orient Craft Textiles.
Export of Clothes in Domestic and International Markets
In the textile industry operating in Kulhi Industrial Area, skilled youths are producing clothes for world-renowned brands using state-of-the-art machines. Clothes made here are exported to various countries including the UK, USA, and Germany, along with all over India. There is a demand for branded jeans, pants, shirts, children’s clothing, ladies’ wear, woolen wear, and undergarments produced in Ranchi in both domestic and international markets. With the excellent textile policy and support from the state government, the textile industry in Jharkhand will witness significant growth, and in the coming years, the capacity of Kulhi factories will provide employment to one lakh people.
Employment for Girls and Workers Brought from Different States
Girls from Jharkhand who were working in various states and were either brought back during the COVID-19 pandemic or were being employed as bonded labor in different states have been provided employment in Ranchi as per the instructions of the Chief Minister. Some workers who were rescued from the Uttarakhand tunnel accident have also been provided employment in the plants located in Kulhi.
झारखंड की सरकार ने युवाओं को निजी क्षेत्र में नियोजन की सुनिश्चित करने के लिए प्रयास किए और इसके लिए मुख्यमंत्री हेमंत सोरेन ने 2500 युवाओं को ऑफर लेटर सौंपने की योजना बताई है। पहले ही मुख्यमंत्री के निर्देश पर प्रमंडल स्तरीय रोजगार मेला का आयोजन करके 56 हजार युवाओं को निजी क्षेत्र में ऑफर लेटर प्रदान किया जा चुका है। कुल्ही इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया में कई टेक्सटाइल प्लांट्स के शुभारंभ के बाद महज तीन वर्षों में 10 हजार से अधिक युवाओं को रोजगार मिला है। इससे न केवल युवाओं को रोजगार मिल रहा है, बल्कि उन्हें बेहतर सुविधाएं भी मिल रही हैं। कुल्ही इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया में स्थित कपड़े की फैक्ट्रियां न सिर्फ लोगों को रोजगार दे रही हैं, बल्कि उन्हें बेहतर सुविधाएं उपलब्ध करा रही हैं। यहां काम करने वालों में 90 प्रतिशत महिलाएं हैं। इसके अलावा, कुल्ही इंडस्ट्रियल एरिया में संचालित वस्त्र उद्योग में झारखंड के युवाओं और विश्व स्तरीय मशीनों की मदद से विख्यात ब्रांड्स के कपड़े बनाए जा रहे हैं और इन कपड़ों को भारत और कई देशों में एक्सपोर्ट किया जा रहा है। झारखंड में टेक्सटाइल इंडस्ट्री की ग्रोथ के बाद कुछ वर्षों में इसमें एक लाख लोगों को रोजगार मिलने की उम्मीद है। इसके अलावा, झारखंड की सरकार ने अन्य राज्यों से आए श्रमिकों और बेटियों को भी रोजगार प्रदान किया है।
