Devotees throng to Banka for Kanwar Yatra
Just like every year, this year too, the Kanwar Yatra procession of 3,000 devotees carrying 61 and 41 feet long Kanwads reached the Dhoraiya block in Banka under the banner of the Sangh. The devotees were seen dancing to the tunes of drums, trumpets, and DJs during the procession. The roads were crowded with people to witness the Kanwar Yatra, where the devotees were welcomed with grandeur by the Shiv devotees.
Political leaders join the Yatra
On Thursday evening, the Kanwar Yatra reached the Dhoraiya block. Bhagalpur MP Ajay Mandal and Kahalgaon MLA Pawan Yadav were also present during the Yatra. The administration, along with local social workers, made excellent arrangements for the devotees’ rest and stay, including the distribution of fruit juice and snacks.
Cultural performances and arrangements
The Kanwar Yatra, which has become a center of attraction, saw cultural performances by artists singing bhajans and hymns. The President of the Padaav Sangh, Santosh Kumar, mentioned that this is the 112th Yatra. The devotees were welcomed at various places along the route with facilities for relief from the heat, including baths, tea, juice, and fruits.
Security and arrangements
The police administration increased patrolling to ensure the safety of the Kanwariyas and to maintain the peaceful conduct of the Yatra. The Kanwar Yatra continues to attract devotees, with the devotees eagerly participating in carrying the Kanwads and chanting the name of Lord Shiva enthusiastically throughout the journey.
बांका में हर साल की तरह इस साल भी सावन में पड़व संघ के बैनर तले 3 हजार कांवरियों का झुंड 61 और 41 फिट लंबी कांवड़ लेकर बांका के धोरैया प्रखंड पहुंचा। कावंरियों का झुंड यात्रा में ढोल नगाड़े और डीजे की धुन पर झूमते हुए चल रहे थे। यात्रा इस दौरान आकर्षण का केंद्र बना रहा। धोरैया में कांवड़ यात्रा रुकने पर महाआरती का आयोजन किया गया। इसके बाद यहां से सभी बाबा धाम के लिए रवाना हुए। पुलिस प्रशासन की ओर से भी कांवरिया को कोई कठिनाई ना हो इसके लिए पेट्रोलिंग व्यवस्था बढ़ा दी गयी थी। धोरैया पहुंचने पर भागलपुर सांसद अजय मंडल व कहलगांव विधायक पवन यादव भी साथ थे।
