The North Eastern Bihar Chamber of Commerce and Industries has written a letter to the Union Finance Minister demanding the mandatory requirement of a report on the value of land/house in property transactions. The letter, written on the instructions of Chamber President Shok Agrawal, was informed by Secretary General Bhuvan Agrawal, who said that the circle value of land/house within the municipal area is the same as the stamp duty determined by the Bihar government, up to 7 kilometers. However, the reality is that only the main area of the municipality is within this limit.

सड़कों पर स्थित जमीनों का सर्किल मूल्य बहुत अधिक होता है और इसलिए आयकर वैल्यूवर की रिपोर्ट की आवश्यकता होती है। चैम्बर ने इस मुद्दे को उठाते हुए केन्द्रीय वित्त मंत्री को एक पत्र लिखा है और उन्हें जमीन/मकान खरीद-बिक्री में आयकर वैल्यूवर की रिपोर्ट अनिवार्य करने की मांग की है।
