Patna to Purnia Expressway Plans

The minister stated that along with the four-lane project, there is a plan to construct an expressway between Patna and Purnia. Once completed, this project will ease connectivity for the entire region including Bhagalpur and Purnia with the capital city. Commuters will be able to complete their journey in much less time. This step marks a significant boost to Bihar’s infrastructure.

Get 5000 Rupees for Finding Potholes

Starting in July, the government is launching a unique campaign. If a common citizen spots a pothole on the road and reports it to the department, they will be given a reward of 5,000 rupees. The minister emphasized that this will improve road monitoring and ensure that officials do not show negligence in their work.
