Kishanganj DM suspends revenue officer in Pothia
Kishanganj District Magistrate Tushar Singla has suspended revenue officer Amar Kumar Singh in Pothia. Singh has been accused of misconduct in the government registry-2 against his current position in Bahadurganj region. Due to negligence in his duties, the District Magistrate and Superintendent suspended Singh immediately and ordered departmental action against him.
Probe into contaminated food at Maruwatoli Middle School
An investigation team found evidence of a lizard in the food at Maruwatoli Middle School, leading to children falling ill after consuming the meal. The District Magistrate took the case seriously and formed a team of three senior officials to investigate the matter. The team visited the school and conducted a thorough inspection of the mid-day meal issue.
