Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister, Vijay Kumar Sinha, will be laying the foundation for several important development projects in the area. The highlight of the event is the construction of a new market structure in the Agricultural Produce Market Committee campus. This modern facility will cost around Rs 42 crore and is expected to be completed by 2026. Once finished, it will provide farmers with a better place to trade their agricultural products.

Additionally, there are more projects lined up for the same day. At 1:00 PM, the foundation stone for a women’s ITI and a pulses development center will be laid in Barhia. Then, at 1:30 PM, new health sub-centers will be inaugurated in several villages. Finally, a seed processing unit will be established in Halasi at 4:30 PM.

These new developments aim to uplift various sectors like agriculture, education, and healthcare in Lakhisarai. Recently, there’s been a lot of happiness among locals because train services have been restored at several stations, including Barhia and Dumri.
