Lalu Yadav’s Family Faces Charges in Land-for-Job Case, Court Hearing Draws Attention in Delhi

In a significant update from Bihar, the Lalu family, including Lalu Yadav, was present in Delhi recently. They attended a court hearing related to the Land for Job case, which has been a major issue for them. The court framed charges against 41 individuals, including Lalu, while 52 others were acquitted due to a lack of evidence. This hearing took place at Rouse Avenue Court, and the family had to be present in person.

During the court proceedings, key members of the family like Tejashwi Yadav, Misa Bharti, and Tej Pratap Yadav were present. Lalu Yadav and his wife, Rabri Devi, participated through video conferencing. It was a rare moment for Tejashwi and Tej Pratap to see each other face to face after a long time, even though they did not engage in any lengthy conversation.

Tejashwi and Tej Pratap shared a brief moment in the lift after the hearing. Tejashwi, along with his friend Sanjay Yadav and some lawyers, gestured to Tej Pratap to ask how he was doing. However, Tej Pratap seemed visibly upset, possibly directed at Sanjay Yadav, as he has been critical of him in the past without directly naming him.

This isn’t the first time the brothers have had a tense encounter. Just before the Bihar Assembly elections, they also came face to face at Patna Airport, where Tej Pratap appeared equally displeased. Such moments have caught public attention, especially since Tej Pratap has faced expulsion from the party by Lalu Yadav for six years.
