Decreasing Interest in Admission at JPU
There has been a decrease in the interest of students in getting admission at Jay Prakash University. Looking at the number of enrollments in the undergraduate courses, around 17,000 seats were left vacant in the previous academic session 2023-27. Out of the total 37,000 seats available for admission, only 20,500 students had applied for enrollment. In the year 2022, 11,500 seats were vacant, while in 2021 and 2020, 9,000 and 9,500 seats respectively remained unoccupied.
