Madhubani Crime: Youth Arrested for Posting Offensive Comments about Lord Shri Ram on Instagram

In a recent incident, a youth from Ekhattha village in Madhubani’s Thana area was arrested by the police for circulating derogatory comments about Lord Shri Ram on Instagram. The accused, Mohd. Anwar Hussain alias Azad, was produced in court and subsequently sent to jail. The arrest was made after the police received an online complaint from a social organization in Assam called Random Scan, which had been monitoring the accused’s objectionable posts about gods and goddesses for some time.

Investigation and Arrest

Following the complaint, the police raided Azad’s residence and recovered two mobile phones from him. He was then arrested and charged with the offense. During the investigation, Azad accepted his mistake and admitted to posting the objectionable content. The police have registered a case against him based on the complaint and the court has ordered his arrest.
