Man critically injured in a sword attack in Jamui
A man named Pawan Kumar, also known as Dhapu Singh, was severely injured in a sword attack by a gang in the Khaira Thana area of Jamui. The incident took place on Thursday night in the Khadainch village. The victim was brought to the Sadar Hospital by his family for treatment, where the doctors, after initial treatment, referred him to Patna for better medical care due to his critical condition.
Attack carried out by local goons
According to the relatives of the injured man, the attack was carried out by local goons belonging to the same village. The victim’s family identified one of the attackers as Phoolkumar Singh, who has a history of criminal activities. The motive behind the attack is yet to be determined, and an investigation is underway to apprehend the culprits.

The doctors at the Sadar Hospital assessed the victim’s condition as serious and decided to refer him to Patna for advanced treatment. The family immediately arranged for his transfer to Patna, where he is currently undergoing treatment.
