A youth lost his life on Wednesday when he fell from a train between Danapur-PDDE rail section and Raghunathpur station on the down line. The identity of the deceased was established after ten hours. The deceased has been identified as Chitranjit Kumar Ram, the 19-year-old son of Ayodhya Ram, a resident of Bankat village, Ward No. 3 in Shahpur police station. He was working in a private company in Pune, Maharashtra.
According to the deceased’s brother-in-law, Dharmendra Kumar, Chitranjit had come to his village 15 days ago for a family function. On Wednesday, he was returning to Pune from his village when the unfortunate incident occurred.
The exact circumstances leading to the incident are yet to be determined. The police are investigating the matter and will release further details once the investigation is complete.
The family and friends of the deceased are in a state of shock and mourning. They are awaiting the arrival of Chitranjit’s body for the final rites.
