Man impersonating as Deputy Superintendent of Police caught in Bhagalpur
On 19th July, the police arrested a man and his wife in Bhagalpur for impersonating as a Deputy Superintendent of Police and duping several people. The man, identified as Raj Pandey, and his wife Pushpa Pandey were caught by the police while they were driving their car with a fake board indicating their fake identity. The police seized their car and started investigating the case.
Case of Fraud registered against the impostor
On 28th June, a case of fraud was registered against the couple in Jogser police station. The Station House Officer, Krishna Nandan Kumar Singh, along with the police force, went to the impostor’s house in Kharmanchak Mohalla, but the couple had already left in their car. They were intercepted on their way back and taken to the police station for questioning.
Legal action taken against the accused
The Inspector-in-Charge of Jogser police station, Krishna Nandan Kumar Singh, has filed a case against Raj Pandey for his involvement in fraudulent activities. The case also mentions similar incidents in Jogser, Nathnagar, and Siliguri in West Bengal. The investigation is ongoing, and further action will be taken soon.
Impostor left on PR bond due to health issues
The accused was released on a PR bond due to health issues. City SP Raj informed that the case came to light when the impostor was pretending to be a fake officer and deceiving people. The accused are residents of Jogser police station area, and the investigation is still ongoing. Legal action will be taken soon after the primary investigation is completed.
भागलपुर में एक व्यक्ति ने अपनी कार पर वरीय उप समाहर्ता का बोर्ड लगाकर ठगी की। ठग की पहचान जोगसर थाना अंतर्गत राज पांडेय के रूप में हुई। राज पांडेय और उसकी पत्नी पुष्पा पांडेय को पुलिस ने 19 जुलाई को गिरफ्तार किया था। उन्हें दोनों को कार से उतरते हुए पकड़ा गया था और वरीय उप समाहर्ता से संबंधित पूछताछ की गई। पुलिस ने कार जब्त कर ली और अस्वस्थ होने के कारण उन्हें PR बांड पर छोड़ दिया गया है। इस मामले में जोगसर थानाध्यक्ष ने केस दर्ज किया है और अनुसंधान जारी है।
