Incident on Samastipur-Barauni Rail Section: Man Injured Due to Ticket Issue
A man in Samastipur faced a serious injury while trying to travel in the sleeper class with a general ticket on Sunday. According to the family, the man was pushed by the Ticket Examiner (TTE) from the moving train as he did not have a sleeper ticket. As a result, he got caught in the train and suffered severe injuries.
The incident took place on the Mithila Express train running on the Samastipur-Barauni rail section. The man had purchased a general ticket but wanted to travel in the sleeper class. However, due to the unavailability of sleeper tickets, the TTE allegedly pushed him from the moving train, causing him to be trapped and injured.
The family has accused the TTE of negligence and demanded action against him. They claim that the man’s injuries could have been avoided if proper arrangements were made for ticketing or if the TTE had handled the situation more responsibly.
The injured man was immediately rushed to the hospital for treatment. The incident has raised concerns about the safety and behavior of railway officials towards passengers. Authorities have been urged to investigate the matter and take appropriate action against those responsible for the incident.
